Being Human

Hey Guys,

Hope everyone is well. Check this out.

It says it all. I mean it. All. Everything. Put an exclamation mark after it and then say no more.

Jordan, I can't put Affluenza down. I love it. It's messing me up forever.

yeah man, it messed me up too. i am still struggling to make the ideas from that book practical. we are all so used to overconsumption and instant gratification. i do want to make those ideas more prevalent in my life though. i found so many of the concepts to have strong faith applications as well. the humor is great as well. we shoudl get together this week and discuss it, if you have an hour or soemthing. my house or yours?
peace

jordan this is not a networking page where you plan out your personal calendar. regarding the link by josh, interesting. good thoughts. the only issue i had was the end part where he mentions a specific "church" body. that was frustrating.

'in our shrinking world, even claiming to be a Christian muddies the water.'

wow. this is great out-of-the-mould stuff. thanks for bringing it to our attention, josh.

i think it would be profitable to ping-pong some of these ideas on a sunday night. what do you guys think?

We are the only people who even claim to be disciples of a living God. All others follow a system first taught by a now dead crazy man. We are unique in this way and the term Christian does fall closer to the dead-crazy-men-systems becaue our understanding of it has been corrupted by church leaders through the years. We follow a living God not a system! Thanks for the post, Josh!
